Remarks Mainly insectivorous (Ref. 94730). Stomach content of two specimens include amphipod crustaceans and insects (Ref. 55619). Spawning probably occured during late summer or early autumn as a female, collected in August 1934, had large eggs, about 3 mm in diameter (Ref. 55619). According to Ref. 94730 spawning occurs in October.
