 Max. size:  15.9 cm SL (male/unsexed); 15.4 cm SL (female)
 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 244 - 434 m
 Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Aleutian Islands, Alaska.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 51-53; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 43-46; Vertebrae: 55-58. Pectoral fin very shallowly notched; caudal fin round, broad, continuous with dorsal and anal for about two-thirds of its length without notches at union, its rays having free tips (Ref. 12700). Body gray, transparent; posterior margin of dorsal, anal and caudal fins dark (Ref. 12700).
