 Environment:  benthopelagic, non-migratory
 Distribution:  Central America: Laguna Chichancanab, Mexico.
 Biology:  Feeds on fishes (Ref. 99405). Not a seasonal killifish (Ref. 27139).
 IUCN Red List Status: Endangered (A1abc+2bc, B1+2c, C2b) (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
