 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 400 - 760 m
 Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: east coast of Japan and the Kyushu-Palau Ridge (Ref. 1371); also Taiwan (Ref. 12711).
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 75-79; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 67-75
 Biology:  A benthic species found on the continental slope (Ref. 75154).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
