 Environment:  demersal; depth range 1 - 82 m
 Distribution:  Western Atlantic: North Carolina to Florida in the USA and the Bahamas; northern Gulf of Mexico to Panama.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Occurs in bays, lagoons and shallow coastal waters.
