Description synthétique Morphologie | Morphométrie

Épines dorsales (Total): 5 - 7; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 14-16; Épines anales 1; Rayons mous anaux: 20 - 25. Teeth in jaws restricted to first third along free edge of premaxilla. Dorsal edge of opercle without notch and process (Ref. 9769).

Inhabits rough surf and waves around rocky headlands and reefs. Nothing is known of the biology of this species (Ref. 9769).
