Comments

Invaded standing and slowly flowing waters, including oxbows, shallow lakes, ponds, canals and ditches. Approximately up to a few thousand individuals are present in open waters. Control of the species should be considered even though scale of impact is weak. Displaced several species of limnophilous fishes (Ref. 55773). Naturalized and acclimatized (Ref. 92885).
