Etymology: Zoarchias: Greek, zoarkes, -es = that gives life (Ref. 45335); hosoyai: Named in honor of Mr. Seiichi Hosoya, Director of Okinawa Branch, IDEA Consultants Inc., who collected and donated the holotype and paratypes to the first author.
