Short description Morphology | Morphometrics

Dorsal spines (total): 11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-14; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 8. Grey with numerous yellow stripes. Juveniles with a small black side-spot that shows intermittently in adults (Ref. 48635). Adult with horizontal stripes yellow faint on sides and black spot on soft dorsal-fin anterior. Median fins yellow, pectoral-fin axil brown upper side. Dorsal scale rows obliquely rising above lateral line. Preopercular notch developed moderately Body depth 2.4-2.6 in SL (Ref. 90102).
